Meet the Team

Our Care Team

All of our team members have passed a rigorous recruitment and selection process, and have to supply two references and to go through an enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service), which ensures that we employ only people of good character.

They also have a comprehensive induction which covers a variety of subjects, including their duty of care to their customers, as well as moving and handling techniques. Once their induction is complete, they receive a Care Certificate from Skills for Care.

Before entering service, they are required to shadow an experienced member of our team and they will be personally introduced to each customer. This will enable them to gain valuable experience which cannot be delivered in a classroom environment. We will always seek your consent before anyone enters your home.

Our team will seek feedback from you regularly, especially when new staff are introduced. We ask that you give honest opinions and that you contact the office if you have any comments that you wish to make.

Important Notes

Please note that our care staff are not trained nurses or paramedics and do not have any professional understanding of any medical conditions that you may have. We are not qualified to perform resuscitation techniques or other emergency first aid procedures. We provide non-medical services only.

Whilst we try to ensure continuity of service, it should not be assumed that the care worker who visits you will know that you have a medical condition.

However, they will be aware if you are taking medication as this will be recorded in your care plan and they will refer to this document for instruction.

If you have any questions for our team, please do no hesitate to get in touch with us.
